How we handle the limited personal data this website collects, and the terms for using it.

Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data CartConnect collects through this website (CartConnect.store), why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. This website is a marketing site: we collect only what we need to respond to enquiries and to keep the site secure. We do not run advertising or behavioural-analytics tracking on it.

1. Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is CartConnect B.V., Singel 542, 1017AZ Amsterdam, the Netherlands (Chamber of Commerce / KvK no. 96711558; VAT no. NL867726830B01). For any privacy question or to exercise your rights, contact us at team@cartconnect.store.

2. What we collect and why

When you submit the “Request demo” form, you provide:

  • First and last name
  • Work email address
  • Company name
  • The product or area you’re interested in
  • Any additional message you choose to include (optional)

We use this solely to respond to your request, arrange a demo, and contact you about CartConnect. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries and taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f)).

When you visit the site or submit the form, our infrastructure also processes technical data, including your IP address and basic request metadata. We use this to deliver the site, protect the form against spam and abuse (a hidden anti-spam field and a short-lived per-IP submission limit), and maintain security. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure and available (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the service providers that operate this website on our behalf (processors), under appropriate data-processing terms:

  • Cloudflare, Inc. — hosting, content delivery, and the temporary per-IP rate-limit store that protects the form. Processes IP and request data.
  • Web3Forms — delivers your form submission to our team inbox by email. Processes the form fields listed above.
  • Our email provider — receives and stores the resulting enquiry email in our inbox.

4. International transfers

Some of these providers are based outside the European Economic Area (for example, in the United States). Where that is the case, transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

5. How long we keep it

We retain demo enquiries for as long as needed to handle your request and to manage any resulting business relationship, and then delete or archive them in line with our internal retention practices. Security and rate-limiting data is short-lived (the per-IP submission counter expires within an hour).

Cookies & similar technologies

We do not use advertising or analytics cookies on this website, and we do not track you across other sites. Fonts are served from our own domain, so visiting the site does not share your data with a font provider.

The demo form is protected against abuse with a hidden anti-bot field and a short-lived per-IP rate limit; neither sets a cookie, and neither is used for advertising or cross-site tracking.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Have inaccurate data corrected
  • Have your data erased
  • Restrict or object to our processing
  • Receive your data in a portable format

To exercise any of these, email team@cartconnect.store. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. In the Netherlands this is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).

Terms of Use

By accessing this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Use of the site

This site is provided for general information about CartConnect and its products. You agree not to misuse it, including by attempting to interfere with its security, submitting the form for any unlawful or abusive purpose, or accessing it through automated means in a way that disrupts the service.

2. Intellectual property

The content on this site — including text, design, graphics, logos, and trademarks — is owned by CartConnect or its respective owners and is protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from it without our prior written permission.

3. No warranty

The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Product descriptions are for information only and do not form part of any contract. We do not guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

4. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CartConnect is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website.

5. Third-party links

The site may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those sites, and a link does not imply endorsement.

6. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in the Netherlands.

7. Changes

We may update this policy and these terms from time to time. The current version, with its “last updated” date, always applies. Questions? Email us at team@cartconnect.store.
